Recipients of the Yarmouth County Historical Society’s Restoration of the Year Award 2001 and the Nova Scotia Home Award as Restoration of the Year 2001 the home boosts a fine interior accented in Pennsylvania Cherry, Quartison and Tiger Oak, inlaid hardwood flooring, stain glass and the only Tropical Conservatory on the Southwestern Shore. The finest feature of this Bed and Breakfast is its 45’ hand carved oak staircase flanked in a diagonal of stain glass windows.
We have three beautifully appointed guest rooms all with private baths. Themed in honor of the Richards family and decorated in period furnishings this fine bed and breakfast is sure to offer something for everyone. A full breakfast is served in our dining room each morning, our fire placed library is available for curling up with a good book and our covered veranda allows for an experience of the great Nova Scotian summer evenings.
